Since 2009, internationally renowned dub aficionados Kingfisha have built a rock-solid following delivering world-class tracks and earning themselves a shoulder-to-shoulder standing with the worlds best proponents of the genre. Kingfisha has toured around the globe that has built them an impeccable reputation as bass-heavy roof-raisers.

Having performed at many of Australia and Europe’s best festivals, Kingfisha have solidified their reputation as a must-see act in the global music scene.

The Strides

The Strides are a force for Reggae music, fronted by roots man Ras Roni from Barbados, Fijian MC LTL GZeus and Sierra Leonian ragga powerhouse Blaka C, The Strides deliver a musical experience that is as explosive as it is authentic. The Strides’ music faithfully builds on the foundations of classic roots reggae with a hip-hop edge, forging a sound that brings together modern dance hall, dub beats and reggae-pop.

After 15 years on the road and having graced the stages of some of Australia’s biggest music festivals, including: Splendour in the Grass, Byron Bay Blues and Roots festival and WOMADelaide, and having supported the likes of: Tony Allen, Julian Marley, Groundation and Third World, this world class 9-piece have become a reggae institution, melding a diversity of cultures and instrumentation under the one universal consciousness.

Chase the Sun

Sydney’s kings of epic blues-rock shred Chase The Sun have become somewhat of a cult band of late, with their powerhouse live show becoming harder and harder to find in recent years – the boys in the band opting to become spectators in the race for fame and fortune. Guitarist Jan Rynsaardt is recognised by aficionados as one of Australia’s best, and the band combine elements of acoustic blues, stoner rock Psychedelia and Stevie Ray Vaughn boogie into a sound that quickly established them as crowd and critic favourites at festivals all over the country when they hit the scene back in 2007. 2020 sees Chase The Sun back in the hot seat, with a national tour and new music on the horizon – this is a show not to be missed by lovers of loud guitar blues, blazing hard funk played with a cranking 70’s southern rock feel.

Shantan Wantan Ichiban

Shantan’s gift to put together energetic sets across different genres has made him one of Sydney’s most sought after DJs. He can be found playing clubs all around the country, as well as festivals like Splendour In Grass, Spilt Milk, Groovin The Moo and Lost Paradise. His sets never fail to get the dancefloor heaving with a good vibe mix which touches everything from Spicy Hip Hop Edits to Disco Mash-Ups to Bumping House to Hypnotic Afro-Caribbean rhythms with a pinch of Jungle Flavour.

Raw Ordio

The ‘Raw Ordio’ formula is deep electronic grooves with mashups of classic remixes. Crowds will sing along, then are drenched in the sonic signature ‘Raw Ordio’ sound keeping them coming back for more. ‘Raw Ordio’ is DJ/Producer Brett Gadenne & as the live act he is joined by the amazing talents of Andy V on Sax & Keys, & the fire energy of Damian Campbell on Percussion. The sound is phat, the music production is next level & the act put on a show of improvised musicianship that is mind blowing.

Cass Eager

Cass is an R&B soul blues singer with a sound that embodies old-school cool with bold sexy optimism. Claude Hay & The Kung Fu Mustard

Hailing from the Blue Mountains, Claude Hay unveils his latest project, a fusion of old-school funk, rock-groove riffage, and a hint of retro hip-hop, bringing a fresh energy to the festival stages. Collaborating with producer-composer Brian Cachia, who also lends his drumming skills, and joined by bassist Ryan Van Gennip, Claude Hay is a festival sensation in Australia sure to elevate dance floors with infectious energy and groove-worthy performances. With a solo career spanning 15 years and five albums, Claude is now poised to captivate audiences anew with his band, Claude Hay & The Kung Fu Mustard.

Electrik Lemonade

Electrik Lemonade is a merry band of funklords that play a repertoire of funk, hip hop, blues, soul and dance music that could only be fathered by the likes of Captain Planet. Each member brings their own slice of Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Lovin’ in the live show, culminating in a whirlwind of explosive energy that comes with a tidal warning as the crowd uncontrollably burst into a wave of dance and good vibes.

Pat Powell’s Riddim

Pat Powell Riddim is a roots rock steady band that play classic jamaican songs as well as one drop hits and lovers rock from the 70’s and then they’ll “Italisice” other songs that you know and love from other genres, an idea of guitarist Illya Szwec’s he enlisted Pat Powell on vocals plus his Jamaican brother from another mother Winston Stephenson on bass and Ivan Jordan on drums, your inner groove meister will be busting to break free when you feel their riddims.

Jack Biilmann

With the saltwater of the Far South Coast of NSW and the crystal clear water of the Snowy Mountains running through his veins, Jack Biilmann has been surrounded by inspiration his whole life. This has been absorbed and used to write a signature brand of blues, rock, soul, country and folk influenced song collections. After 10 years of national and international touring, a world famous Maton guitars endorsement, hundreds of thousands of streams, four albums and a reputation for a hell of a live show, Biilmann has paved a reputation as one of Australia’s most talented artists in the blues/roots/rock scene. Whether it be intricate finger-style playing, percussion, clockwork like finger picking or lightning fast blues licks, Jack’s skill set is undeniable. Vocally Biilmann is a true story teller which leaves audiences captivated by his emotional realness and growling vocal power. With the addition of clever foot percussion, harmonica and looping, Biilmann has always had his own unmistaken sound.

Jan Preston

Jan Preston has been a longstanding favourite on the festival circuit. She is a knockout boogie pianist and singer who has won 5 music awards and regularly tours Australia, NZ and Europe. Known for her magnetic and energetic performances, Jan will be joined by percussionist Mike Pullman.

Jordan Mac

Australian progressive-roots and folk artist Jordan Mac has fast become known for his honest voice and virtuosic ability on the twelve and six-string guitars, performing Middle-Eastern and Celtic infused riffs over live and electronic percussion. Fresh off a handful of dates touring with Pete Murray in late 2022, other notable shows in recent years include opening for iconic Australian and New Zealand acts – Neil Finn (Crowded House), Fat Freddie’s Drop, Angus & Julia Stone and touring with The Beautiful Girls.

The Groove

The Groove is a new fusion of old sounds emerging from the Illawarra / Shoalhaven. An amorphous shifting blend of spanish / classical acoustic guitar vibes with driving afro percussive rhythms. From roots to Latin, blues to middle eastern and eclectic flavours in between The Groove tweak your sense of fun and familiarity. Their synergistic organic sessions have captivated audiences of all ages and cultures from the northern beaches of Sydney down to the peaks of the Snowy Mountains. The Groove are versatile, vivacious and vibrant and their sound invariably gets your toes tapping and your hands clapping to ‘The Groove.’

Pepper & Davies

New contemporary folk duo Pepper & Davies are a sublime meeting of a classical-pop chameleon’s grace with an infamous Blues-Man’s groove. With a sound described as Joni Mitchell meets Jethro Tull, they invite audiences on an intimate journey through songs of sweet, gritty love and finding belonging within the modern landscape.

Sarah Humphreys

Beloved Australian folk singer, Sarah Humphreys is as natural and as honest as they come. Soulful and unpolished with a voice like no other, she leaves her audience with full hearts and teary eyes.

The Intrepid Dream

The Intrepid Dream is a musical trio featuring Chris Ralfs’ double bass finesse and supporting vocals, Tess Curran’s mesmerising velvety lead vocal tones and Nolen Oayda’s spin on rhythm guitar and supporting vocals. Together, these three friends blend soft jazz, blues, rock and country sounds from the past and ‘almost present.’ From heart felt songs to foot tapping beats, don’t miss the vibe, sounds and smiles of The Intrepid Dream.

Rusty & Co.

Mark Ballesi and Russell Churcher (aka Rusty) are long time folk musicians who share a love of the singer/songwriter tradition. Their rich vocal harmonies and down-to-earth folk instrumentation on guitar, banjo and dobro bring to life songs, both classic and original, that will engage, amuse and uplift your heart. They’ll be joined the accordion squeezing David De Santi to round off the sound.

Tulli Naje

Enjoy the youthful performance of the 2023 Australian Busking Champion finalist, Tulli Naje. This solo vocalist and guitarist delivers a soulful interpretation of folk and pop covers. With a voice beyond her years and heartfelt recitals it’s hard not to be entranced by this young and beautifully natured musician. Tulli is from Jindabyne but along with her family, she spends many summer weekends and holidays at her cherished second home, Pambula Beach where she is a regular busker at the Local Markets (and keen surfer).

Maya rae Navarrete

Fresh from the 2024 Cobargo Folk Festival, Maya, accompanied by Anna on piano will have the whole room singing along and a hop in their step as they play covers from a wide selection of music genre.
